Since everyone seems overly concerned with Pettigrew's idiocy in showing himself at the castle this weekend, I thought I'd bring to attention the perceived safety of Hogwarts. If one known, supposedly reformed Death Eater can sneak in, especially one as obviously dumb as Pettigrew, without anyone noticing until he's practically gone anyway, what's to say it won't happen again? I would like to know what's being done to ensure that our future is being preserved as securely as possible and that just because the Ministry is getting lax, security as concerns our children is not.

You think that'll cause any sort of stir at all?

Let me fix that for you, shall I?

... how that's relevant to my FORMER friend breaking into the school.

There, all better. I've seen the error of my trusting the wrong sort. Amazing, that.

[Hexed private to Regulus]

What the fuck do you think you're doing with this? You want to cause more issues and troubles? Is it fun for you to see people running about in a panic? I'd thought you'd changed but obviously not. If you know a single thing about Peter or any of your other so-called friends, you'd better tell me.

The position you're in, it's dangerous not knowing what you're doing. You have to think, Regulus. You're either going back or you're not. There isn't a grey area here. So think carefully.

You want to meet? I wouldn't turn down drinks.

Sure you can free yourself from your desk? And since you're the one with the steady employment, I say you buy. You're such a generous person anyway so I doubt I needed to have mentioned it.

Oh, I'm sure they'd find someone much more fitting to be the Heir. And you'll find someone to give all that shit to.

Getting away from my desk shouldn't be much of a problem. Of course, because there's nothing ironic about the younger reformed Death Eater brother taking the older hero brother out for drinks.

Right. Cause the House of Black is sane and rational like that.

Too right but I'd rather give you it all. Again, you're the Heir. You get it all. And before you ask, yes, I do make myself laugh.

Nothing at all ironic or funny about the younger reformed Death Eater taking out the Hero who actually chose the appropriate side from the beginning. If you ask nicely, I'll let you buy me dinner, too.

Fuck off. Can't be all that sane and rational what with all the inbreeding.

With me, brother mine. With me. You know you're laughing, too.

I'm ever so glad to have allayed your fears. Since you obviously were trembling with the need to feed me, you are, of course, more than welcome to buy me dinner at an expensive restaurant. It's the least you can do and we wouldn't want anyone thinking that the Heir would eat anywhere else.

Course it wasn't entirely your fault. I'm sure we can take care of part of the problem. Speaking of which, have you heard from the problem lately?

The inbreeding could've been far worse. They could've married me off the Bella or Narcissa.

Oh yes, Kreacher's coming to see if I need to go to Mungo's I'm laughing so hard. And it's at you, brother. You're just laughing too hard to see.

Ah good, so I'll be able to spend a lot of my money in one place. Brilliant. It's a good thing you're watching out for me like this, y'know. Otherwise, I'd make all these social faux pas without realizing it.

Since mother and father are both dead, I can only presume you mean Bellatrix? Then yes, briefly not too long ago.

And here you thought you were the only one in the family with a sense of humor. It was my pleasure, really, Sirius.

What an odd sense of justice you seem to have. Though it does make some sense. To think how loudly she'd yell if she ever found out...

Bringing up the past does no one any good now.

And fuck off, you know you love how I'm so free with my opinions and gifts of wisdom.

I see why you don't date much. You'll still buy me that hearty meal and because you just called me fat, I'll have dessert too.

You're an absolute sap and I have no idea how you survived it the last time if you're this sappy and overly emotional. I've no idea where you got it from, either. It certainly didn't come from me.

I don't date much because as attractive as reformed Death Eaters are, that just doesn't seem to bring in the right girls. But my personality was a good honest try, I'll give you that. Though to be fair, you get dates so personality can't have much to do with it.

I'm not sappy or overly emotional. And even if I was, I'd blame you for leaving me alone with mother and Kreacher all those years. So it is your fault even if it didn't come from you.

You'd think the air of darkness and the possibility that you used to torture their families might possibly bring them in. Birds are silly creatures like that.

I date because I'm hot and I have a stunning and winning personality. I know you're upset because I'm the oldest and took all the looks, brains, personality, talent and cocksize from you but, really, I couldn't resist.

Girls seem to like my tattoos. Maybe it's the whole skull thing. Nothing sexy about skulls. Have you thought about getting a flower to cover it?

You are an absolute arsehole. My hair is quite attractive. I get compliments on it all the time. I'll have you know that I can name three people off the top of my head that love to run their fingers through my hair.

Just wait. Live in that house long enough and you'll start to shriek just like mummy dearest. And I'm not crazy. I'm eccentric.

It might have something to do with the snake too. Most birds don't like snakes very much. A flower? Honestly, who do you think I am? You?

Oh you can? Who, I'll be sure to contact them and see if you're lying or not.

I will not. I'm far saner than she ever was. Besides, she still shrieks enough for the pair of us.

There are more but, again, I'm suspicious as to your intentions. And I'll have you know that I do not have hair on my arse. There are spells to take care of that. Perhaps that's another reason why you don't date.

You're laughing as I state the obvious. All aboard the House of Black express train to insanity! You'll be shrieking while Kreacher mutters and sneaks around behind you. Then I'll have to commit you and take over the family fortune. Wait, why I am discouraging this again?

What else are brothers for? You'd think you'd be used to it after all these years. I do use the spells quite often. Would you like to hear the details? You are a right pervy bastard, aren't you?

Quite right, you've found me out as to my intentions towards you. Also, I've enough money, thanks. I'd rather not have a thing to do with the Black fortune. You are more than welcome to all of its tainted glory. I'd starve first.
